About us
Since 2008, Smile has been working side by side with students to help primary and secondary school students plan, learn, ‘learn’ to learn and complete homework. At Smile, we believe that every student is unique and deserves a personal approach. That’s why we offer customized tutoring and tutoring, tailored to the needs and learning style of each student. Whether it’s help with subject matter, planning, or developing important study skills, our goal is to help students grow, build confidence and achieve success.
Our strength lies in personal attention and expert guidance. With a team of experienced and motivated teachers, we offer individual sessions that support students in their development. From primary school to secondary school and beyond, we ensure that everyone receives the tools and guidance to get the best out of themselves. In addition, we ensure that each student is guided by the same teacher at a fixed time, so that they build a bond of trust together. This creates a stable learning environment in which the student feels heard and understood.

Our services
Our offer includes lessons for primary school pupils and for secondary school pupils. For secondary school pupils we offer subject-specific support and study guidance. These two forms can also be combined. In addition, we also offer Dutch as a second language lessons.
Primary school tutoring
At Smile we help primary school pupils with arithmetic, language, verb spelling and reading comprehension. We repeat missed material and reinforce knowledge in subjects they struggle with. For groups 7 and 8 we prepare pupils for important tests, such as the final test. We provide a solid foundation, self-confidence and a positive learning experience.
Subject-specific tutoring
Smile offers subject-specific tutoring for high school students in subjects such as mathematics, languages and science. We focus on the specific issues of the student and strengthen basic knowledge. Through targeted explanations and exercises, students not only build knowledge, but also self-confidence, so that they perform optimally at school.
Study guidance
Smile helps students with study skills such as independent planning and learning to learn. In individual sessions, we develop learning strategies and structure the student's work. In this way, we not only help them understand the subject matter, but also become more confident and independent in their schoolwork.
Dutch as a second language (Nt2)
Smile offers individual NT2 lessons for anyone who wants to learn Dutch. We focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing, with attention to grammar and vocabulary. Whether you want to build a foundation or prepare for a language test, our lessons are always tailored to your specific learning needs.
Pricing
We have the following rates for tutoring and study guidance:
€39.50 for subject-specific tutoring and/or study guidance 60 min.
€49.50 for Dutch as a second language (Nt2) lessons from 60 min.
